MatchPlay League

This is a fun competitive competition where weekly competition level players participate matches earning points that allow to move up and down and ladder with the ultimate aim on being crowned “ GD Tennis In house or Matchplay League Champion” and having their name added to our plaque located in the club house. This competition is a great way for players to keep up with their skills, and practise leading into weekend competition. Great transition for players who are just getting out of orange ball to green ball.

All matches are formed as a fast 4 format which is first to 4 games. Players are ensured to play at least 2 matches each week.

KEY FEATURES OF GD Tennis in House MatchPlay League COMPETITION:

 No travel to multiple venues to participate in match play

 Time friendly format with defined start and finish times (60 – 75 minutes)

 Opportunity for players to participate in other sports on weekends and still participate in competitive

tennis.

 Opportunity to apply skills learnt in their coaching program in a competitive / pressure environment

 Opportunity to play singles and doubles

Modified season lengths

Designed for orange ball to green ball transition level through to yellow ball players.

Cost: $5.00 a week
