Current participants enrolled in GD Tennis lessons are given priority for the next term. No need to re enrol. Your spot will automatically be the same class and day ( unless advised otherwise) If you wish not to continue please notify GD Tennis as soon as possible, so we can make amendments to classes.
Invoices will be sent out start of the term.
Payment for each term, must be paid by the due date provided when the invoice is issued. This is to ensure your spot is confirmed . For any overdue payments, may impact your childs spot in their allocated class time. A $10 overdue fee may be applied, if the invoice is 2 weeks late of the due date.
If there are any difficulties paying the term in full, please contact Giselle to arrange a payment plan.
Thank you for understanding.
MISSED LESSONS and MAKE UPS:
GD Tennis is under no obligation to credit or refund missed lessons. If your child is away, please inform your coach so we can arrange a make up for the missed class. 2 make ups are allowed in the same term.
If a coach is away due to illness, or a wash out occurs, a make up will be made on the spare week of term.
If your child is away, and would like a make up, must contact the head coach. Make up classes can only be made at alternate times and days to students usual class time.
Your fees hold your spot in our program, its your choice and responsibility as to how many lessons you attend.
Our costs, ( balls, equipment, court hire, insurance etc) remain the same whether you attend or not.
Private Lesson Coaching:
As more athletes are taking the opportunity to fast track their tennis development with Private and Semi-Private Lessons. To ensure that all athletes have access to private lesson time slots we kindly appreciate you giving your coach a minimum of 12hrs notice if you are unable to attend your allocated time slot. This gives your coach enough time to re schedule lessons and fill gaps in their schedule.
If not enough notice isn’t provided it will result in the athlete still to be required to pay 50% of their lesson fee.
This fee may be waived if a medical certificate is produced and or your lesson is rescheduled for that week.
Where possible if you are unable to make your allocated time slot your coach will find another day and time that suits to make the missed lesson.
Many thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
Public Holidays and Long weekends – There will be no classes scheduled on Public Holidays, and this is excluded in the term fees.
RAIN
Lessons may be cancelled in wet weather, or if in our judgement its likely to be wet during the lesson time. The decision wheather to cancel lessons due to bad weather, will be made at the courts immediately prior to the lesson. We do our best to get your child on court! Only on extreme bad weather days, we will make decision in advance.
If Your child’s class has been cancelled due to rain you’ll receive a text message notifying you about the cancellation. If you do not receive a message from your coach, assume that your class time will be going ahead as normal.
If a class gets washed out during a lesson, the remainder of the lesson will be indoors. If the facility is unavailable , the that lesson will be made up at the end or term. If the lesson is the first or last lesson of the day then, that lesson will be extended onto their usual time the following week.
HEAT POLICY
Please not that our heat policy is that classes will be cancelled when temperatures reach over 36 + degrees
You coach will notify you if the class is cancelled due to extreme weather.
